Nathan Juarez is a dynamic percussionist, vocalist, composer, and educator. He has performed widely as both a soloist and ensemble musician, with recent highlights including performances of his original works in Spain and appearances with the Eugene Symphony, Eugene Opera, and Yakima Symphony. Nathan is an active composer with recent commissions for wind ensemble and chamber ensemble, and he brings that same creative energy as an educator, creating and arranging music tailored to a variety of learning environments. He currently teaches percussion as a Graduate Employee at the University of Oregon, where he’s pursuing a Doctorate in Percussion Performance and a Master’s in Music Theory.
